Quarterly PSN Top Guns List published by Zephyr identifies best-in-class separate accounts, managed accounts, and managed ETF strategies

Wellesley, MA — December 19, 2022— Wellesley Asset Management announced today it has been named to the celebrated PSN Top Guns List of best performing separate accounts, managed accounts, and managed ETF strategies for Q3 2022. The highly anticipated list, published by Zephyr, remains one of the most important references for investors and asset managers.

“With the growing interest in separately managed accounts, the PSN Top Guns List has attracted greater attention,” says Margaret Tobiasen, SVP of Data Distribution who cites PSN’s pioneering efforts as the first SMA database as the reason for the list’s popularity. “Wellesley Asset Management has done remarkable work and we are pleased to include them as a top performer.”

Through a combination PSN’s proprietary performance screens, the PSN Top Guns List ranks products in six proprietary categories in over 75 universes based on continued performance over time.

Wellesley’s Convertible Bond SMA strategy was named a Top Gun award winner, indicating it had one of the top ten returns over the last one-year period in its respective category. The firm’s exclusive focus on the convertible bond asset class is a distinct advantage. Wellesley’s investment approach of owning high-quality, short duration convertible bonds at or near par value can provide enhanced downside protection and favorable risk/reward outcomes for clients.

“We are extremely honored to be recognized as a top performer. The environment is very favorable for our strategy as investors look for ways to capture positive returns in the face of uncertain markets”, says Michael Miller, President and Chief Investment Officer.
